We are finally to the end of our 10 Day Declutter Challenge. Today is all about finishing up any unfinished tasks from previous days and celebrating wins. Speaking of wins…..did you see my Tar Heels last night? We are going to the finals!!!!

Here are 10 things I learned during The Declutter Challenge:
1. You cannot declutter your entire home in 10 days. (Unless you devote hours each day and pretty much don’t do anything else.)
2. Home management is a continual process.
3. Small wins count BIG TIME.
4. It is courageous to ask for help.
5. Not completing your to do list is…ABSOLUTELY FINE!
6. Perfection is not the goal. (Most times good is….good enough)
7. Self kindness is necessary.
8. Being honest about your time and motivation to refill all those pretty containers you want for your pantry and laundry rooms is key!!!
9. Declutter first THEN purchase containers!!!
10. Relationships, past trauma, season of life changes, and health are all causes of clutter.
Bonus:
“When all else fails, cleaning house is the perfect antidote to most of life’s ills.”
— Sue Grafton
